Assure DowntimeThe next version release for Assure is scheduled to take place on 28th April 2016. Please note that on this day the Assure system will be unavailable from 5pm onwards. Users will receive an email advising when down time has ended and the system is available. Bank Holiday Weekend SupportClarity Informatics work within normal working hours, therefore please note that there will be no user support available between 17:00 on Friday 29th April 2016 and 09:00 on Tuesday 2nd May 2016. Any emails or helpdesk tickets received during this time will be responded to after the bank holiday. Changes to Create Patient FunctionalityWe are releasing new functionality to the Assure create patient function in the end of April release. Users will now be able to create patients with a discharge date set in the future. This functionality was requested by the North West region to aid their data collection efficiency. If users in your region would like to use this functionality please contact Clarity so that we can explain this process fully. Please see the Clarity Assure Help Wiki for more information. Data Processing CalendarThe 2016/2017 calendar is now available to download from the Clarity Assure Help Wiki. Overnight Data LoadsFor your information we thought it would be helpful to explain why Clarity data loads take place overnight. We always aim to load data as quickly as possible once we receive it from Trusts, however, we are limited to loading data overnight due to the effect the process may have on users entering data on to Assure. Large data loads can slow the site down and potentially lead to users being timed out of the site. Therefore to minimize disruption to all users this process is restricted to night time. Review of Assure UsersWe are currently undertaking an annual review of Assure users. An email has been sent out to the programme leads for each Trust with the current list of registered users attached. Please ensure you respond so that the system can be updated. If you haven't received the list of users for your Trust please email assure-enquiries@clarity.co.uk. Serious Infection Project CollaborativeThe next collaborative will take place on 11th May, Parking for this event is limited so please let us know in advance if you will require a space. We won't be able to guarantee parking without prior booking. An agenda will be sent out as soon as it is finalised. If you have anything you would like to add for discussion, please get in touch. Updates to Focus AreasChanges are currently being designed to the Sepsis focus area following the publication of the new sepsis definition and CQUIN documents, more information will be released in due course. |
