The Professional profile can be used to document your professional skills and qualifications. The ‘Online CV’ feature allows you to collate and download all of the information you add, forming a structured CV listing your professional details, and any date relevant information will automatically be added to your appraisal.

Tip: Whenever you are awarded a new qualification or learn/practice an extended skill, you should enter the information into your Professional Profile. This means you will always have quick access to your certificate information and can monitor your expiry dates to ensure your skills are renewed at the correct time. If there are particular sections/lectures/training courses that you found particularly beneficial or interesting, you can document them more thoroughly in your Portfolio. |

The Probity section involves details of issues relating to honesty, integrity and being trustworthy; characteristics which are integral to a nurse's practice. Probity issues may involve both the nurse and their practice. An effort should be made to reflect on at least one issue of probity each appraisal year. Matters of probity may include: - Fabrication or falsification of documents such as; information regarding medical services, CVs, research, report writing
- Ethical practice including bribes regarding drug representatives and other practitioners
- Patient care such as; exploiting vulnerable patients, receiving gifts, confidentiality issues
- Conflicts of interest such as financial gain from organisations they are affiliated with
