The Probity section involves details of issues relating to honesty, integrity and being trustworthy; characteristics which are integral to a clinician's good medical practice. Probity issues may involve both the clinician and their practice.
An effort should be made to reflect on at least one issue of probity each appraisal year.

During the upgrade to the new Appraisal Toolkit we have made some changes to the Probity section of your profile. Any previously entered Probity information will be moved to the new section as part of your upgrade. 
You will still be able to access your probity entries from your Professional Profile navigation bar, and you can also access your Probity section through your Statements and Declarations in Section 3 of your appraisal.

 

 If you have a probity issue that falls within the date range of an appraisal, you will be unable to select "I have nothing to declare". The issue must be declared before you can submit your appraisal.
